Wow! Traveling around TX and just happened upon Sunset RV! Stayed 4 nights and found beautiful large landscaped sites with an abundance of native wild flowers, large shade trees, rolling hills, and friendly neighbors! Chad, who seems to take care of most things, is a high energy polite young man who made us feel so at home. Short term or long term this is a great park!
My husband and I just stayed at this amazing park for our Daughters wedding in Dripping Springs. Chad checked us in and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this park.
We found Sarah on Airbnb when we were looking for a place to stay for a week during SXSW. We have never rented from someone more accommodating and friendly. She did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. Angel of a person!
The place itself was surprising for us as we didn’t know what to expect from a little cabin in an RV park, but it was a nice mix of secluded yet close to everything. The decor was cozy and it quickly felt like home.
When we come back to Austin we will definitely be trying to stay here again, and would recommend it to friends or family in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything Sarah!
Very nice, quiet little RV resort located perfect for us in between Star Hill Ranch and Hamilton Pool and only a short drive to Lake Travis and Austin. Had the privilege of meeting James. Very nice guy. He looks like a Steve though. Lol (private joke) I imagine Sarah was busy with the twins. Maybe we will get to meet her next time. Thanks, we had a very nice stay.

My husband and I have been full timers for over a year. This is the first time we have visited Austin. We are absolutely overjoyed with the Sunset RV Resort! It is centrally located to many things in Austin! We have truly enjoyed our time here! We will definitely be back. What a wonderful RV Resort! Kudos to the owners for such a wonderful RV park!
We would like to commend the management and staff at Sunset RV Park for the way they tool care of us and our camper trailer during recent winter storm. They went out of their way on several occasions to see that we had everything that we needed during the frigid temperatures and the ice and snow. We definitely recommend this park and the people who run it and we will be back.
This is a really lovely campground! The sites are large, the laundry room was clean and well maintained and folks that work there are very friendly and helpful. Our dog had surgery before we left on our trip and I needed some medication sent to us at Sunset. It was not a problem at all; it arrived a few days before we did and they happily held it for us. So many places don’t want extra hassles but this was a huge help for us and meant a lot. We definitely recommend this resort.
We stayed for 3 nights and our spot was awesome and ready when we arrived. The hosts are so pleasant and accommodating! Loved the Welcome sign when you pull in! Would absolutely stay again! Thank you!
It lives up to its name! Gorgeous sunsets every night! We were living the script of three weddings and a funeral – and staff were very helpful for everything from accommodating our changing schedule to topping up our Propane. Pet and People friendly – the park made our difficult stay easy! Hill Country location was convenient for everything in Austin that we needed &very close to Hamilton Pool.
Hi, we are in the process of moving from our apartment to go RV full-time. From the minute we had our rig picked up from way south Texas, we’ve had that black cloud follow us, blow out on the freeway, pulled over by the THP, my friend’s place wasn’t going to be large enough to store our RV unit once they re-read the size . From the minute we spoke with Terri back in June, we felt that cloud lifting away. We’ve enjoyed meeting and getting to know Terri and Jeff so much, and we were fortunate enough that they had availability, that we decided to park our rig at Sunset RV Resort and stay in it. The neighbors are friendly and polite, everyone picks up after their dogs. It’s a nice and quiet place to relax. Once we actually do move on, which will be hard, we will definitely be looking Terri and Jeff up at the Sunset RV Resort. You guys make this place special. Keep up the great work.
We traveled all over the US. This park is one of the best. Great staff, greeted us and showed us to our site. Helped with questions and continued to follow up. Greeted us the day we left. Such a great place. Clean, quite and friendly. We love Austin and Sunset was just close enough but outside for a great view and close to so many cool places. We will be back. Thanks.
My wife and I stayed for 1 night and our spot was completely awesome and ready when we arrived. I loved the amenities and the bathrooms were nice and clean. The staff (Hanna) was so pleasant and accommodating! We Loved the Welcome sign when we drove up! I absolutely loved our visit and would stay again! Thank you!
Very nice, clean park. The couple who run the park are so kind and friendly. Easy parking and plenty of space between trailers. Most spots had nice shade trees. If we go back that way, will definitely stay here if they have an available spot
Spent one night on our way back home. Very pretty little campground that I would recommend for sure. Super clean and quiet. Great facilities (laundry). Thanks !
Stayed 10/27/22 – 11/17/22 Very welcoming, inviting staff. Exceptionally well manicured grounds. Positive environment.
Pros: Friendly. FHU. Level Pads. 3 Pull Thru Sites. Picnic Tables. Dump Station. Laundry w/ Change Machine. Showers. Propane. Office. LongTerm Rates. Resident Mailboxes. Fruit Trees. Nice On-site Hosts (Terri, Jeff & Omen). Family friendly.

Very nice park! We felt so comfortable there. The owners are great. The park is clean, quiet and close to many great adventures. The Bullock Museum was one of our favorites. Also the Longhorn Cavern State Park.
We were there from 2 weeks, we had a great time, the park was very clean. Sarah and James took very good care of the park and us
Very friendly staff, clean and well cared for park.
